Barnegat Man Accused of Burglarizing LBI Businesses

Ocean County grand juries hand up indictments

A Barnegat man was among a trio accused last week of burglarizing two businesses in Long Beach.

Justin Fenderlander, 30, of Barnegat, Kevin Mendoza, 21, and Oscar Orlando, 51, both of Ship Bottom, were indicted last week by an Ocean County grand jury on charges of breaking into two establishments in Long Beach Sept. 6.

The trio burglarized businesses at 1319 Long Beach Boulevard and 1401 Long Beach Boulevard, the indictment states.

All three men were charged with two counts of second-degree burglary.

Fenderlander and Mendoza remain in Ocean County Jail on $25,000  and $30,000 bail, respectively. Orlando was released on a summons.

Ocean County grand juries also indicted:

  • Alexandria J. Oliver, 22, of First Street on a drug charge.

Oliver is accused of possessing heroin June 13 while in Ocean Township. She was released on a summons.

  • John A. Sauer, 28, of Little Egg Harbor on a burglary charge.

Sauer allegedly broke into a business on Hawthorne Avenue between Oct. 18 and 19. He was released on his own recognizance.
