A 20-year-old Barnegat Man was charged recently for having $15,500 in outstanding warrants, police said.
According to police:
On Feb. 7th at 5 p.m., Ptl. Nicholas Venuto arrested Jarriel Walton, 20, of Barnegat on $15,500 in outstanding warrants out of Lacey and Barnegat Townships.
Ptl. Venuto had observed Walton in the 7-11 on West Bay Avenue and had prior knowledge of the warrants. Walton was processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail in default of bail.
