Barnegat Man Arrested On Numerous Drug Charges

Cache of heroin, cocaine and Suboxone found in Edward H. Parkhill's home


A Lexington Boulevard man is lodged in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $80,000 bail following his arrest on multiple drug charges, Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato said.

County detectives arrested Edward H. Parkhill, 27, and charged him with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to dstribute, possession of heroin with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public park, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public park and possession of Suboxone, the prosecutor said..
 
Detectives from the Prosecutor’s Southern Enforcement Unit, along with members of the Barnegat Township Police Department and the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team executed a search warrant at 2 Lexington Boulevard during the evening hours of July 23, Coronato said.

Police seized approximately 1,000 individual dosage units of heroin, a quantity of cocaine, a quantity of Suboxone and approximately $580 in cash, he said.

Municipal Court Judge Phillip M. Miller set Parkhill’s bail at $80,000, with no ten percent option.
