Stafford Township police recently arrested a Barnegat man and charged him with the aggravated assault of a security officer at Southern Ocean Medical Center.
George Ebinger IV, 22, was arrested at 4:55 p.m. on June 15, after an altercation at the Manahawkin hospital, police said.
Ebinger assaulted a security officer employed by the hospital. He was processed and later released into the custody of Southern Ocean Medical Center, pending a court appearance, according to the police report.
Patrolman M. Potter was the arresting officer.
