A Barnegat Township man is in stable condition following a motor vehicle accident in Lacey on Jan. 6.
Lacey Township police and emergency services responded to the accident scene, near Route 9 southbound and First Street at 12:30 a.m. A 2003 Chevy S-10 pickup truck driven by Vasilio Koutsogiannis, 36, of Barnegat struck a utility pole.
Koutsogiannis was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center to be treated for injuries sustained in the accident.
The pole sustained heavy damage and JCP&L came out for repairs.
Koutsogiannis is stable at Jersey Shore Medical Center.
The investigation is ongoing and traffic citations are forthcoming.
