Police say Brian Pedroli was driving with a suspended license and an open container of alcohol in his car
Police recently arrested a Barnegat man and charged him with DWI and a number of other traffic offenses after a motor vehicle stop, Lt. Keith Germain said.
Patrolman George Martin arrested Brian Pedroli, 45, at 10 p.m. on Dec. 20 after stopping him on Bayshore Drive for failing to maintain his lane of travel.
Pedroli was also charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, driving with an open container of alcohol and driving with a suspended license, Germain said.
Pedroli's vehicle was impounded for 12 hours in accordance with John's Law.
Police also discovered that Pedroli had over $800 in outstanding warrants from Stafford and Lakehurst municipal courts. He was lodged in the Ocean County Jail in default of bail on the warrants, police said.
