Barnegat Police Arrest Two Bayville Residents On Heroin Charges

Police have charged two Bayville residents with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia after responding to a call of a woman sleeping in a car.

Patrolman Chris Steins arrested Christopher Corradino, 31, and Julia Hunter, 25, both Bayville, on drug charges on Aug. 29, afer he after responding to the parking lot of the 7-11 on West Bay Ave.

Steins observed drugs and drug paraphernalia inside of the vehicle. He conducted a consent search of the vehicle and recovered heroin, hypodermic syringes, and glass smoking pipes, police said.

Corradino was charged with possession of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. Hunter was charged with possession of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a hypodermic syringe, police said.
