Barnegat Police Charge Township Man With Drunk Driving After Crash




A Barnegat man is facing drunk driving charges after he struck two parked cars and a mailbox recently, Lt. Keith Germain said.

Patrolman Andrew Parsley arrested Justin Ramos, 20, Barnegat for DWI after he responded to a car crash at 11:54 a.m. on June 1 on Denville Street, Germain said

The investigation at the scene revealed that Ramos had struck two parked cars and a mailbox. Further investigation revealed that he was under the influence, police said.

Ramos was uninjured in the collisions. He was processed at police headquarters and also charged with reckless driving and failure to maintain lane. His car was impounded for 12 hours in accordance with John's Law.
