Barnegat police recently arrested a Waretown man for the November theft of lottery tickets from Spirit's Liquors, Lt. Keith Germain said.
Jeffrey Bair, 43, was arrested on Dec. 17. Police identified him as the suspect who took $150 worth of tickets, after they reviewed footage from the store's video surveillance system, police said.
Officers responded to the store on November 10 on a report of a male subject who took the tickets from behind the counter and fled the store.
Bair was charged with shoplifting and was released pending a court date.
