The Barnegat Police Department is conducting its third community survey as part of the agency's compliance with The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. national accreditation standards.
The purpose of the survey is to solicit feedback from Barnegat residents and those who have had contact with the Barnegat Police Department so that they can improve delivery of police services.
The anonymous survey seeks opinions regarding overall agency performance, overall competence of agency employees, citizen's perceptions of officer's attitudes and behavior, community concerns regarding safety and security, and citizen's suggestions for improvement.
Results from prior surveys have been used to shape agency goals and planning.
The survey is available in an easy-to-complete online format.
