Barnegat police have taken to Facebook to ask people to help identify a woman as part of an ongoing investigation.
"Unfortunately, due to the nature of this case we cannot release any further details at this time," police said.
Anyone with information on the female's identity is asked to contact Detective Mike Mitchell at 698-5000 ext 216.
The Facebook has an "impressive 100 percent success rate identifying subjects."
