BARNEGAT POLICE REPORT: Overturned Vehicle Leads to DWI arrest

Woman also charged with reckless driving and failure to maintain lane.

A 50-year-old Beach Haven woman has been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after she allegedly flipped her vehicle.

On Dec. 17 at 10:00 p.m., Ptl. Jim Purcell arrested Kathy Bramin, for driving while intoxicated after responding to Route 72 in the area of Brighton Road for a one-car motor vehicle accident involving an overturned vehicle.

Upon arrival, Ptl. Purcell found that Bramin had already extricated herself from the vehicle.

Bramin was arrested and transported to Southern Ocean Medical Center by the Barnegat First Aid Squad. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane of travel.
