Bomb Threat Reported At Cinema

Anyone with details are asked to contact Stafford police

As of Monday morning, police were still investigating a bomb threat that was called into the Regal Theater Cinema in Manahawkin this weekend.

Management at the theatre declined to comment on the case, but Stafford Police Department Lt. Thomas Dellane told a Patch reporter that a bomb threat was called into the theater around 8 p.m. Saturday night, and a A 9-1-1 call was made to the police department about 10 minutes later.

The theater had been evacuated after the bomb threat had been made to the theater, police said.
