Cedar Bonnet Island is open to residents with their vehicles as of today at 3:00 p.m., according to Stafford police.
Residents must present proof of residency or ownership of the residence.
Acceptable forms of ID include a driver’s license, containing property address, and/or a tax or utility bill containing property address.
Any resident not in possession of an acceptable form of ID must report to Stafford Town Hall to obtain from the tax office documentation of ownership.
Residents should avoid contact with unsafe conditions such as downed wires and debris.
