Cops: Manahawkin Woman Took Power Tools from Home Depot

26-year-old resident arrested on shoplifting charge

Stafford police arrested a township woman for shoplifting items from the Home Depot store on Route 72, police said.

Officers arrived at the store at 5:22 p.m. Saturday, responding to a report of a woman stealing power tools.

According to a prepared statement from township police, an investigation at the scene determined Christina L. Snyder, 26, of Rudder Avenue, had loaded three power tools into a shopping cart, then pushed the cart of the store without paying.

She is accused of stealing $777 worth of merchandise.

Snyder was taken to Stafford police headquarters for processing before being released pending a court appearance later this month.
