Do You Know This Man Wanted For Robbery In Stafford?

Incident took place early Friday morning in Wal-Mart parking lot


Stafford police are asking for the public's help to identify a man wanted for a robbery in the Wal-Mart parking lot on Route 72 East on July 18.

When Patrolman Robert MacFarlane arrived at 4:45 a.m., the victim told him he was sitting in his car when an unidentified man knocked on the window and asked for a cigarette, police said.

When the victim opened the door to give him a cigarette, the suspect told him he had a gun and demanded all of the victim's money, police said.

The victim handed the man three dollars. The suspect then fled eastbound on foot. The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-30s, with short blonde hair. He was wearing a gray T-shirt with jeans.
