Although yesterday's snowstorm created hazardous driving conditions for many throughout the state, Barnegat police say only three accidents were reported in town during the storm.
"Two were very minor," Lt. Keith Germain said. "One was a one-car overturn on Route 72 which involved one of the passengers suffering a broken leg."
Between six to eight inches fell in Barnegat, with higher accumulations in the western portions of the township, he said.
