Beach Haven firefighters extinguished a blaze on Friday and early Saturday at Liberty and Bay avenues, the company said
Upon arrival at 11:45 .m., firefighters witnessed heavy fire on on the second floor of the structure, then lay a line from the hydrant, and 2 1 3/4 lines were stretched, the department said.
Ladder 4605 from Ship Bottom arrived, and manpower assisted in suppression and overhaul.
The fire was under control by 12:15 a.m. Responding were the chief, Engine 1501, Tower 1515, Engine 1531 and Utility 1504. All units back in quarters at 1:45 a.m.
A total of 26 members responded.
