Harvey Cedars Police Arrest Manahawkin Man On Four Outstanding Warrants

Harvey Cedars police recently arrested a Manahawkin man after a motor vehicle stop revealed he had outstanding warrants in three different towns, Detective Robert Burnaford said.

Officer Timothy Butler stopped Ralph R. Woodcock, 48, for a moving vehicle violation at 8:58 p.m. on May 28. Woodcock at first gave a false name, Burnaford said.

Once Woodcock was properly identified, it was determined that he had two warrants out of Toms River Municipal Court, one out of Atlantic City Municipal Court and one out of Beachwood Municipal Court, Burnaford said.

Woodcock was arreted, taken to police headquarters, then released to the Toms River Police Department. A passenger in the car was issued a motor vehicle summons for "riding on parts not intended for a passenger," Burnaford said.
