Lacey Woman Arrested In Berkeley; Provided False Info, Warrants In Waretown

A 48-year-old Lacey woman was charged in Berkeley for providing false information and having outstanding warrants in Waretown elsewhere, police said.

On January 25, Ptl. D.J. Williams conducted a motor vehicle stop near the area of Rt 9 and Frederick Drive. Further investigation revealed that the driver, later identified as Roseanne Speciale, 48, of Lacey, had provided Ptl. Williams with a false name. It was later revealed that she had outstanding warrants.

These warrants included $500.00 out of Lacey, $510.00 out of Philipsburg, $250.00 out of Ocean Township. Speciale also had a no bail warrant out of Warren County.

Speciale was processed and transported to the Ocean County Jail. Ptl. Williams also charged Speciale with obstruction of the administration of law.
