Man Charged With Shoplifting $500 Of Copper Pipe From Manahawkin Home Depot

Suspect lodged in Ocean County Jail in Toms River

Stafford Township police recently arrested a Little Egg Harbor man who was seen walking out of the Home Depot store on Route 72 with $500 worth of copper pipe.

The incident occurred at 11:30 a.m. on April 1. A Home Depot employee was able to get a vehicle description, which he gave to Patrolmen Jacob Conner and Robert Mullin, police said.

The officers followed up on the tip, obtained a warrant and arrested Michael Molino on April 4, according to the police report.

He was processed at police headquarters and charged with shoplifting. Municipal Court Judge Damian J. Murray set Molino's bail at $10,000, since he was already out on bail for a previous charge, police said.

Detective Sgt. Johnson and Officer Kunder assisted in the arrest.
