Manahawkin Man Arrested After Police Contact Two 'Suspicious" People

An 18-year-old Manahawkin man was arrested Saturday after he was believed to be "suspicious."

On February 1, 2014 at approximately 8:45 pm Stafford Police were patrolling the area of Mooring Road and Sextant Road when they came in contact with two unidentified suspicious males.

Upon further investigation Shane Dellaperute, 18, of Lanyard Road in Manahawkin, was placed under arrest upon the strength of a warrant issued by Ocean County Superior Court. Mr. Dellaperute was then transferred to the Ocean County Sheriff's Department.

Officer MacFarlane #462 was the arresting officer, with the assistance of Officer Griffin #96.

Maybe these "drug houses" need to be reported to police.
