Manahawkin Man Charged With Drunk Driving After Hitting Parked Car
The car Frank DeSanto Jr. was driving was also involved in a hit-and-run in Barnegat earlier the same day, police said.
Stafford Township police recently arrested a Walnut Road man and charged him with driving while under the influence, after he struck a parked car.
Frank DeSanto Jr., 36, was arrested after police responded to a motor vehicle accident at 7:33 p.m. on Sept. 21, in the area of Neptune and Breakers drives, police said.
DeSanto was driving a blue Honda Civic when he lost control of the vehicle and struck the parked car on Neptune Drive. His car was also involved in a hit-and-run in Barnegat earlier during the day, police said.
DeSanto was charged and taken to police headquarters for processing. He was later released with a pending date in municipal court, police said.
