A 21-year-old Manahawkin man was found dead last week, possibly the victim of a drug overdose, police said.
On Monday, at approximately 11 a.m., Stafford Police responded to a Atlantis Avenue home in Manahawkin after receiving a first aid call for an unresponsive man, police said.
Paramedics and EMS arrived at the scene and administered CPR. However, they were unable to revive Jayson M. Eby, police said.
Eby was pronounced dead at the scene and will undergo an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
The Stafford Township Police Department along with the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office is currently investigating the death as a possible drug overdose.
