UPDATE: New Round of Mandatory Evacuations Ordered in Brick As Nor'Easter Approaches

Nor'easter threatens several mainland areas of township

Numerous mainland areas of Brick Township were ordered to evacuate Monday night due to an impending nor'easter that threatens to bring high winds, tides and heavy rain to neighborhoods already battered by Hurricane Sandy.

The Brick Township Office of Emergency Management is monitoring a Nor’ Easter that has the potential to strongly impact the township with high winds, storm surge and flooding, Brick Police Sgt. Keith Reinhard said Monday night.

The order has been issued for all residents who reside in low lying waterfront areas of town that are prone to flooding and/or storm surge by Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m.

The mandatory evacuation order includes, but is not limited to:

  • Midstreams neighborhood East of Jordan Rd.
  • Area of Island Dr. in Cedarcroft
  • North & South Dr. (Metedeconk)
  • Princeton Ave. East of Beaver Dam Rd.
  • Cedarbridge Manor East of Lions Lane
  • Vanada Woods
  • Eagle Pass
  • Sandy Point
  • Tilton Rd
  • Cranberry Cove
  • Swan Point Park including Beaton and Gale Rd.
  • Baywood East of Pilot Dr. and Mandolay Dr.
  • Cherry Quay South of Tiller Lane
  • Sailors Quay off of Pleasant Dr., North Pier and South Sailors Quay
  • Waterfront Property in Mallard Point
  • Seaview Dr. & Seaview Ave in Seaview Village
  • Shore Acres

Residents whose homes do not fall into the mandatory area, but have been damaged or affected by Hurricane Sandy are being strongly encouraged to evacuate, Reinhard said.

Residents are encouraged to seek shelter with friends and/or family who are in a safe location. For those residents that require transportation to a shelter, you can contact the call center at 732-262-1234.

The nor'easter is expected to affect the Shore area Wednesday morning through Thursday morning. The National Weather Service office in Mt. Holly has issued a high wind watch for that time period, during which it said wind could be sustained at 20 to 35 m.p.h. with gusts reaching 65 m.p.h.

One thing which will hint at the right formula to this concern about UGG boots is to observe the history of whatever we now call UGG boot footwear. UGG boots will be originally from Modern australia. The first denote be made is definitely that UGG boot footwear are nothing innovative. They were included in World War I actually by pilots as an easy way of keeping heated in unpressurized cabins of your planes they ended up being flying. Also they were included in past decades by way of surfers and swimmers that allows you to quickly warm their feet after the match or exercising. Now in 2010 UGG boots absolutely are a high fashion movement. Who would that is amazing boots http://www.putuggon.com/ Ugg Boots Outlet On Sale,Cheap to Buy with Ugg! - UGG Online Store which were never meant to be worn while in front of other people for any shear shame of their total UGGly appearance would become a product or service of high design amongst people everywhere.
