A Manahawkin man who left his Stern Road home after arguing with family members was later picked up by police and charged with drunk driving, police said.
The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Oct. 30, when police responded to the home on a report of an intoxicated male who had left the home after the argument, police said.
Giancarlo Lagoti, 24, was located shortly after by patrol units. He was charged with DWI, reckless driving and driving on a suspended license, police said.
Lagoti was also wanted on three outstanding criminal warrants out of Wall Township and Seaside Heights. He was transported to Stafford Township Police headquarters where he was processed and turned over to Wall Township Police, pending a future court appearance.
