Operation Take Back Prescription Drug Drop-Off Slated For Saturday

No syringes will be accepted


Barnegat residents will have a chance to clean out their medicine chests of unwanted prescription drugs on Saturday at the Barnegat Municipal Court.

Barnegat police are conducting the program along with the federal Drug Enforcement Agency. Residents can get rid of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the courtroom at 900 West Bay Avenue.

The service is free and anonymous. No syringes will be accepted.
