Police Arrest Pennsylvania Man On Drunk Driving Charges

A Pennsylvania man is facing drunk driving and several other charges after police stopped him on Route 72 over the weekend for driving at a high rate of speed.

Patrolman John Morrin was on patrol at 2:53 a.m. on Aug. 17, near Route 72 and Mill Creek Road when he spotted a 2006 Saab speeding and stopped the driver, police said.

Further investigation revealed that Bogdan Iepure, 28, of Hanover, PA, was operating his car under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Iepure was arrested and charged with DWI, speeding and reckless driving. He was later released to a friend and has a court hearing pending in Stafford Township Municipal Court, said police.
