Police Arrests: Marijuana and Hypodermic Needles
Two Barnegat Residents and a Lakehurst woman arrested for separate drug-related offenses
Barnegat Township police recently made the following arrests:
On March 9 at 12:46 a.m., Ptl. Nicholas Venuto responded to a report of a suspicious man walking around parked vehicles and said he found Kenneth Lee Jr., 27, of Barnegat, in possession of marijuana. Lee Jr. was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
Lee Jr. was processed and released on his own recognizance.

On March 13 at 3:32 p.m., Alexandra Robinson, 33, of Barnegat, was arrested on a charge of illegal possession of hypodermic syringes and a $20,000 child support warrant when officer Ptl. Lauren Keilitz conducted a random license plate inquiry via the mobile data terminal in her patrol vehicle and discovered that Robinson’s license was suspended.
Robinson was lodged in Ocean County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail on the child-support warrant. No additional bail was placed on the syringe charge.

Last week, a Lakehurst woman was arrested on Barnegat Boulevard for $50,000 in outstanding warrants out of multiple New Jersey jurisdictions. On March 18 at 3:20 p.m., Ptl. Brian Weber located Julie Patterson, 22, of Lakehurst, in a motor vehicle after receiving an anonymous tip that she was in the area. Patterson was found to be illegally in possession of hypodermic needles, police said.
Patterson was charged with possession of hypodermic syringes and was lodged in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $52,433 bail.
