The following items were recently released by the Barnegat Township Police Department:
Sunday, Feb. 19: At 5:56 p.m., Ptl. Nicholas Dapuzzo arrested Garrett Sakevich, 28, of Barnegat for DWI after observing Sakevich driving in an aggressive manner.
Ptl. Dapuzzo was on a routine patrol on West Bay Avenue when Sakevich's vehicle passed his patrol vehicle, swerved in traffic, and tailgated another vehicle.
Sakevich was processed and released with summonses for DWI, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, tailgating and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Tuesday, Feb. 21: At 3:38 p.m., Ptl. Joseph Stanziano arrested Clifford Roberts, 52, of Barnegat for DWI after stopping Roberts's unregistered motorized scooter on Barnegat Boulevard South.
Roberts was processed and released with charges for DWI, reckless driving, driving while suspended, unregistered vehicle, and uninsured vehicle.
