Details on more recent arrests from the Barnegat Township Police Department

The following items were recently released by the Barnegat Township Police Department:

  • Tuesday, June 21: At 12:59 a.m., Ptl. Thomas Behrens arrested Robert Boyle, 35, of Barnegat on two outstanding contempt of court arrest warrants out of Keansburg and Pt. Pleasant totaling $975. Boyle was unable to post bail and was lodged in the Ocean County Jail.
  •  Tuesday, June 21: At 2:40 a.m. the same night, Ptl. Nicholas Venuto arrested Christopher Martisofski, 21, of Toms River for DWI after stopping Martisofski's vehicle for failing to maintain his lane of travel on West Bay Avenue. Martisofski was released after being charged with DWI, reckless driving, failing to maintain lane of travel and failing to signal.
