POLICE BLOTTER for Tuesday, April 5

Shoplifting incident; a slew of contempt of court arrests – some heftier than others.

The following items were recently released by the Barnegat Township Police Department.

Wednesday, March 27: Police responded to the CVS Pharmacy on West Bay Avenue on a report of a shoplifter. The investigation revealed a Caucasian female wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants took two Essence cosmetic bags from the store and left in a compact vehicle, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact Patrolman Bryan Nogowski or leave an anonymous tip at 609-660-TIPS or by clicking the TIP LINE icon on the Barnegat Police Department website.

Thursday, March 28: At 12:07 a.m., Patrolman Brian Weber arrested Anthony Foglio, 26, of Ocean Gate on a DWI charge after stopping Foglio's vehicle for tailgating on Route 9. Foglio was released after being charged with DWI, reckless driving, following too closely, failing to produce cocuments, and open container of alcohol.

Friday, April 1: Patroman Michael DiBlasi arrested Michael Morton, 43, of Berlin, Md. on an outstanding contempt of court arrest warrant out of Barnegat in the amount of $1,000. Morton was unable to post bail and was lodged in the Ocean County Jail.

Saturday, April 2: Patrolman Gregory Martinez arrested Jonathon Garzon, 27, of Edison, on an outstanding contempt of court arrest warrant out of Marlboro Township in the amount of $1,500. Garzon was unable to post bail and was turned over to officers from Marlboro Township for final disposition.

Monday, April 4: Patrolman Andrew Parsley arrested Francesco Neri, 52, of Barnegat on an outstanding contempt of court arrest warrant out of the Monmouth County Sheriff Department in the amount of $24,167. Neri was unable to post bail and was turned over to sheriff officers for final disposition.

The same day, Patrolman Gregory Martinez arrested Michael Manganiello Sr., 42, of Barnegat on an outstanding contempt of court arrest warrant out of the Ocean County Sheriff Department in the amount of 7,663. Manganiello Sr. was unable to post bail and was turned over to sheriff officers for final disposition.
