The following items were recently released by the Barnegat Township Police Department.
- Sunday, July 4: At 10:42 p.m., Ptl. Nicholas Dapuzzo arrested Gary Casper, 54, of Waretown for DWI after Casper was observed nearly falling off of the motorcycle he was operating on East Bay Avenue at the public docks. Casper was released after being charged with DWI and reckless driving.

- Wednesday, July 6: At 12:05 a.m., Ptl. Robert Armstrong arrested Gloria Bienstock, 76, of Barnegat for DWI after Bienstock struck a parked car and left the scene on Village Drive at Barnegat Boulevard. Bienstock was released after being charged with DWI, reckless driving, refusing to submit breath samples, failing to maintain lane of travel, leaving the scene of an accident and failing to report an accident.
