Juveniles caught trespassing at high school

The following items were recently released by the Barnegat Township Police Department:

  • Saturday, June 18: Ptl. Joseph Stanziano arrested Edward Parkhill, 22, of Branegat, on several outstanding contempt of court arrest warrents from Ocean Township, Woodland Township and Eagleswood totally $1,556. Parkhill was unable to post bail and was lodged in the Ocean County Jail.
  • Monday, June 20: Just after 11 p.m., Ptl. Brian Weber arrested two Barnegat Township juveniles for tresspassing at Barnegat High School. Ptl. Weber located a 14-year-old male behind the school and a 16-year-old male on the roof. The two juveniles told police they were both on the roof at one point following through on a dare. There was no damage to the building, nor was anything missing from the school or grounds. The juveniles were processed and released to the parents. There are charges pending Station House Adjustment eligibility.
