Waretown Pair Involved In Thanksgiving Police, Bounty Hunter Sweep
A bounty hunter for 007 Bail Bonds found the pair at Party Lane on Route 37 and held them on the ground until police arrived, police say
Waretown residents were involved in a drug sweep in Toms River at about 7 p.m. Thanksgiving night led by police and a bounty hunter.
Alexander Ortiz, 34, and Nicole Cicalese, 30, both of Ocean Avenue, were arrested, said Toms River Chief Michael Mastronardy.
Ortiz had an active warrant from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department for $27,000 bail and Cicalese had numerous warrants from Lakewood, Toms River and Washington Township as well as a $50,000 Ocean County warrant, Mastronardy said.
When arrested on the warrants, Ortiz had two hypodermic syringes in his possession and was additionally charged with that violation by Officer Brent Mundy, Mastronardy said.
