Police Charge Stafford Man With Drug Distribution, Possession

Staffored Township police recently arrested a Float Avenue man on a number of drug-related charges.

Members of the Stafford Township Drug Enforcement Unit obtained a search warrant on Aug. 8 and served it on Brandon C. Leek at his home.

Police found one pound of marijuana, digital scales, packaging materials and other drug paraphernalia, according to a department statement.

Leek was charged with possession of marijuana over 50 grams, distribution of marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia, police said.

Two others in the house - Kemburry Pierre and Matthew Parisien - were arrested and charged with loitering with the intent to purchase marijuana, police said.

Leek was later released after posting bail.

Kemburry Pierre was transferred to Ocean County Jail for outstanding arrest warrants. Matthew Parisien was charged and released. All subjects are pending a future appearance in Ocean County Superior Court, said police.
