Stafford Police Searching For SUV Involved In Route 72 Accident
Accident led to multiple power and traffic signal outages, police say
An Oakland man was treated for minor injuries after his car struck a utility pole on Route 72 West on Sunday afternoon.
Anthony V. Tabbachino was taken to Southern Ocean Medical Center after the 2:22 p.m. accident. His green Ford Van struck a utility pole after witnesses say a white or silver SUV cut him off, forcing him off the roadway, police said.
The accident - which happened at mile marker 21.3 - led to a number of power and traffic signal outages in the area, said police.
The accident is under investigation by Patrolman DeMarco. Anyone with any information about the sports utility vehicle is asked to call 609-597-1189, ext. 8456.
