Residents Stripped Parts From Schooner Ave. Homes, Indictment Charges

Ocean County grand juries hand up indictments

Two Barnegat men face charges in connection with two township burglaries this fall.

Anthony Siculietano and Dylan M. Kennedy, both 19, were indicted last week by an Ocean County grand jury for allegedly stealing items from two residences they broke into in October, the charges state.

Both burglaries occurred between Oct. 6 and 12 on Schooner Avenue. The pair entered 32 Schooner Ave., a foreclosed home, and stripped parts of the home, stealing aluminum gutter spouts, a refrigerator motor, cooling coil and condenser and numerous copper wiring and copper tubing, the indictment states. The value of the items was between $200 and $500.

That same week Siculietano and Kennedy entered a home down the block at 38 Schooner Ave. and stole an air conditioner, electrcial cords and copper piping, with a value in excess of $500, the indictment states.

Both men were charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of theft.

The residents were initially jailed but posted bail in October.

Grand juries also indicted: 

  • Adam Robles, 41, of Compass Lane after he allegedly threatened a woman.

Authorities say Robles brandished a pellet gun Sept. 29 in an attempt to "terrorize" a fellow township resident. 

He was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and terroristic threats. 

Robles was jailed on $25,000 bail but posted Oct. 21.

  • A Georgia man on a drug charge.

Dwayne K. Robinson, 43, was arrested July 12 in Barnegat and accused of possessing suboxone, a prescription drug. He was released on his own recognizance.

Bethany J. Smith, 26, of West Bay Avenue on an aggravated assault charge.

Smith struck police Officer Leanne Petracca Sept. 10 in the township, the indictment states. She was jailed on $30,000 bail but posted Sept. 13.
