Stafford Man Faces Drug Charges After Police Find Him Asleep At The Wheel

Police have charged a Buccaneer Drive man with multiple charges after they found him asleep his car with a fistful of oxycodone tables, according to the police report.

Officers responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle at 2:36 a.m. on July 30 on Gangway Lane near Serpent Lane, police said.

They found Craig V. Vanblarcom, 21, asleep at the wheel of his parked car with "multiple" oxycodone tables in his hand and on his lap. A total of 67 tables were recovered from the car, along with one table of amphetamine, according to the police report.
 
Vanblarcom was arrested and taken to police headquarters. He was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute, two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, driving under the influence and multiple motor vehicle summonses, police said.

He was later released and has a pending Aug. 16 court date in Stafford Township municipal court, according to the police report.
