Stafford Police Arrest Woman for Drug Possession
Lanoka Harbor resident was also arrested and charged with shoplifting
A 29-year-old Lanoka Harbor resident has been arrested and charged with shoplifting, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia following an incident at the TJ Maxx on Route 72.
Stafford police said that Christine Sandella was observed by store security oncealing two Chi flat irons into her purse and exiting the store without purchasing them. She was stopped outside the store by security officers, who then contacted Stafford police.
Police arrived and arrested and charged Sandella for shoplifting. As Sandella’s purse was searched, five bags of heroin and a straw containing residual heroin were found, police said. She was transported to police headquarters to be processed.

Sandella was later transported to and lodged in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. She awaits court hearings in Stafford Township Municipal Court and Ocean County Superior Court. Patrolman John Morrin was the arresting officer.
