Police recently arrested a Treasure Island woman for driving while intoxicated after she failed to obey a traffic light.
Officers stopped Yvette M. Blanchard, 49, at 11 p.m. on April 26 on Route 72 Westbound. Field sobriety tests determined she was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, according to the police report.
She was arrested, charged with DWI and also issued summonses for reckless driving, failure to obey a traffic control device, and failure to maintain lamps, police said.
Blanchard was released pending a future court appearance, police said.
