Stafford police are asking that anyone with information on a traffic accident Saturday morning, at Route 539 mile post 11 by Cedar Bridge Road, contact them.
The one-car accident, involving a 1999 green Chevy Prism, occurred at 11:22 a.m. on Saturday, November 10.
The car was driven by Robert C. Dalton, 47, of Easley, South Carolina. The vehicle was traveling south on Route 539 when it drove off the left side of the roadway onto the grassy area, continued across Cedar Bridge Road and back onto the grassy area on the left side of 539, where it proceeded to overturn several times, ejecting Dalton from the vehicle.
Police said Dalton sustained severe trauma and he was subsequently flown to Atlantic City Medical Trauma Center. The incident was still under investigation by Stafford Township Police Department this morning. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Stafford Police at 609-597-8581
