Waretown woman involved in one-car crash before the arrest

Stafford police recently arrested a Waretown woman and charged her with drunk driving, after receiving a call about an erratic driver, police said.

Police arrested Jacquelyn Gonzalez, 22, for driving while under the influence. Officers responded to the call of someone driving erratically southbound on Route 9 in the northbound lane shortly after midnight on March 31, according to the police report.

They located a back Hyundai involved in a one-car accident on West Bay Avenue, just prior to merging onto Route 72.  Officer Smithman was the arresting officer, police said.
