STAFFORD POLICE REPORT: Man Charged with Assault

Woman charged with shoplifting at Kohl's.

A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault following a fight at the TGI Friday's on Saturday.

Stafford police charged James W. Sprague, of Cedar Run with aggravated assault after they responded to a 911 call at the TGIF Friday's Restaurant for a man bleeding and unconscious in the men's restroom.

Investigation at the scene identified Sprague as the assailant, who had fled the scene prior to police arrival.

The victim,  a 23-year-old Little Egg Harbor man, was flown to the Atlanticare Regional Trauma Center in Atlantic City for treatment of a facial lacerations, concussion and facial fracture.

Sprague was located at his residence and placed under arrest without incident, police said.

Stafford Township Municipal Court Judge Damian Murray set Sprague's bail at $25,000 with no ten percent option. After being processed,  Sprague posted bail and was released pending a court hearing in Superior Court Toms River.

Patrolman John Morrin was the arresting officer.

Also this weekend, on Jan. 4 around 5:30 p.m., police arrested and charged Faith A. Tullo, 64, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ for shoplifting $656.92 worth of merchandise from the Kohls store located at 205 Route 72 West. 

She was processed and released on her own recognizance.

This matter is pending a January 25, 2013 hearing in Stafford Township Municipal Court at 1300 hours.
