Stafford Police To Host Operation Take Back New Jersey In April

Stafford Township police are urging residents to clean out their medicine chests of unused, unexpired and unwanted prescription drugs and bring them to the police department on April 14.

The department is hosting an "Operation Take Back New Jersey" between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the police station at 260 East Bay Avenue in Manahawkin.

The collection day is open to all local residents to properly dispose of their unused, unwanted and expired medicine.

The majority of police departments throughout the state are participating in the event.

It is spearheaded by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) New Jersey Division, the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police, the NY/NJ HIDTA, and the New Jersey National Guard.  For more information about the program and other local sites, go to  www.operationtakebacknj.com

Are we pulling the politicians out of their offices, homes and cocktail parties? Are we going to restore constitutional laws in this broken socialized, welfare state? With cheap heroin, a disarmed society, High unemployment , no jobs everyone seems to be getting something for nothing and all I hear about is some traffic on a bridge!
