Two Barnegat Men Arrested In Heroin Bust

Three-month investigation led to arrest of two involved in heroin distribution

Two Barnegat men were arrested late last week as a result of a months-long investigation into a heroin distribution operation, police said in a release today.

Michael Euston, 32, and Armand Longo, 54, were arrested and charged Oct. 7 after the sale of heroin to an undercover police officer, said Lt. Keith Germain of the Barnegat Township Police Department.

The arrests followed a three-month investigation by the Barnegat Police Investigative Division and the Ocean County Prosecutors Office Special Operations Group, Germain said.

Both men were charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and distribution of heroin, he said.

Euston was also charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.

Both were lodged in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bail.
