Waretown Man Arrested For Driving While On Suspended List For Third DUI

Police stopped Kenneth Logan on Route 9 for using a cell phone while driving

Lacey police recently arrested a Waretown man during a motor vehicle stop after a check showed his license was suspended for a third drunk driving violation, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officer Jeffrey Slota stopped Kenneth Logan, 53. Sheridan Street, at 8:47 a.m. on April 12 on Route 9 near Mario's Restaurant after he saw him using a cell phone while he was driving, the chief said.

A check of the driver abstract indicated that Logan was driving while suspended during the period of license suspension for his third DWI, Paprota said.

Logan was arrested and transported to Lacey Township police headquarters where he was processed and released on a criminal summons. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle during a period of suspension for his third DUI. He was also issued a summons for using a cell phone in a moving vehicle, the chief said.
