Water Main Break Cuts Service To Some Homes On Bayshore Drive In Barnegat
Service will be restored at 2 p.m., residents must boil water for 24 hours
From the Barnegat Police Department:
A water main break on Montclair Road has caused an interruption in water service to all homes on and along Bayshore Drive between 11th Street and the municipal dock, Barnegat police said in an alert.
This includes homes on streets that branch off of Bayshore Drive in that area.
The water system will be shut down until approximately 2 p.m. this afternoon. Once water service is restored, all water used for drinking and consumption will need to be boiled for 24 hours.
This notice only affects homes on or off of Bayshore Drive between 11th Street and the municipal dock. For questions or further information please contact town hall at 609-698-0080.
