Barnegat Residents Will No Longer Be Able To Pay Water/Sewer Bills By Phone

Residents will soon be able to pay by ACH; can still pay at tax office or online, Township Clerk says.

A message from the Barnegat Township Clerk's Office:

In response to the large number of transaction requests received by our clerks, as of Sept. 1, 2014 Barnegat Township will no longer be able to process Water/Sewer payments over the phone.

However, for added convenience, starting August 2014 for tax payments and October, 2014 for Water/Sewer payments you can now pay by ACH, which is an automatic withdrawal from your checking account (at no additional cost to the property owner or the Township) authorized by you after filling out a short form at the Tax Office or printing the application from our website at www.barnegat.net. Withdrawals will coincide with the quarterly payment cycle for both taxes and water/sewer.

You may discontinue this payment process by rescinding authorization in writing at any time prior to the quarterly due date.

OR

During normal window hours the Tax Office with accept Water/Sewer credit card payments.

OR

You can now pay you Taxes and Water/Sewer online at www.barnegat.net. A convenience fee will be charged
