Bridgegate II: Revenge of the Skyway

Was the Christie administration improperly reallocating Port Authority funds to repair the Pulaski Skyway?

Christie and his administration are now facing allegations of misallocating Port Authority funds. They allegedly rerouted $1.8 billion from the Authority to repair the Pulaski Skyway.

The Port Authority, which generates its revenue through tolls, is supposed to fund only projects that ease transportation from New York to New Jersey. Christie and his team claimed that the Pulaski Skyway, which connects Jersey City and Newark, was a feeder to the tunnel.

"The kindest thing I can say about this administration is that they've stretched the roles," Democrat Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg told My9NJ.

The Manhattan District Attorney and the Securities and Exchange Commission refused to answer The New York Times; Chasing New Jersey was unable to reach the Governor's office for comment. NorthJersey.com could only speak to a Port Authority official on condition of anonymity.

While the Pulaski Skyway is closer to the Holland Tunnel, the Holland is not covered by Port Authority because it predates the organization. It is, however, in need of repairs: it has been ranked among the most dangerous roads in the country.

Gotta love how they removed that part of the article after I commented. It also said that it's not uncommon that the port authority funds projects like this.

I rest my case... "While the Pulaski Skyway is closer to the Holland Tunnel, the Holland is not covered by Port Authority because it predates the organization. It is, however, in need of repairs: it has been ranked among the most dangerous roads in the country."

I've read this article 4 times and it still does not make any sense. Was this a high school graduation assignment?

The difference is, this propaganda ridden article is full of bigotry. Just give us the news.
